Pat Fisken 1929 - 2025 • Aged 95 years

Pat was well known in Ballarat. She was actively involved in many community and charitable programs. She was a founding member of the Ballarat Health Service Foundation for which she also raised money to purchase new equipment and support community services. Her love of horses and riding made it a natural choice for her to be involved in Riding for the Disabled. She worked as an RDA volunteer for forty years. Pat's involvement in the Bridge club involved more than simply turning up to play. She put her love of gardening to work, creating garden beds for the current club building. She was happy to share successes with others and while creating the garden beds acknowledged the contributions of others. Pat was patient with beginners and a warm and generous person and player. She will be greatly missed.
